O espaço foi reabilitado recentemente, alguns murros reerguidos, os canhões foram restaurados e recolocados em cavaletes novos e foram instalados placas com painéis de interpretação e um passadiço de madeira que começa a uns 10 metros da praia de desembarque até à porta do Forte.
