I read to come in the late afternoon or early morning, we came around 3 and snorkeled and saw a decent size stingray. The water was kinda choppy so we took a break. Around 4 we went back in and saw 2 turtles. We probably would have seen more, but the water was rough and was taking a lot of energy out of us swimming. Qs others have said, not a beginner snorkel spot. I brought a little floating to help. Like other reviews said, to the right or left of the peer. Read moreIt turn out to be very disappointing. Not because of its natural beauty but because of the most dangerous predator on earth: People! What could be a heaven turn out to be an outdoor trash bin. This is a place where turtles go to nest, where corals are marine life habitats but instead it is full of plastic and other debris. Plastic bottles, lighters, crocs, plastic spoons, straws, you name it. Not to mention the tiny plastics that you find on the sand and in the water which will end up inside fishes and turtles. Besides this,which doesn't seem very important to most of the visitors, there is a parking lot, 1 portable wc, and a pic nic area.
