Took a boat to visit the island on the Indian Temple side. Honest review, the water is very nice to swim in, sandy bottom, lots of fish. The beach area is another story, lots of broken glass and rubbish left by locals, very disgusting how the locals just don't care about the wildlife and their country. You can also see the remnants of either British or American occupation, I would love to bring my metal detector next time. I did not get a chance to visit the haunted convent, see picture. Make sure and wear shoes and bring the most powerful insect repellent that you can buy, the mosquitoes are out of this world and will attack you through...

Along the way, the paved pathway was lined with trees, flowers and other plants. The beach close to right side of the jetty was lovely: calm, shallow and therapeutic.
