I spent the first 18 years of my life around this park, as I attended elementary school, middle school, and high school nearby in the 90s and 00s. As a child it was the place to boat, to walk, to picnic, to do scavenging, and to catch tadpoles (and raise them up, until they were mature enough to be returned to the lakes, as frogs). It is also a very lovely place for long-distance running/jogging, (which I did as a teenager for about 5 years,) and for practicing musical instruments and singing. It’s a wonderful mix of culture, nature, and community spirit. A definite 5 out of 5 — peaceful, beautiful, and deeply rooted...
