Madian Mosque — Attraction in Beijing

I was staying at a nearby hotel in 2017 on a business trip to Beijing. I was so pleasantly surprised to find an historic mosque just 10 minutes walk away. Most days I was able to attend for Maghreb and Isha. On my last day I attended jumma, where the congregation was very cosmopolitan - every race was represented. I was hoping during my stay to be able to strike up conversations with local but everyone just minded their own business.
