Read moreVery nice little palace with extensive grounds and beautiful gardens and detailed displays. It is also rather tourist friendly, with captions in English and Japanese as well. The tickets are also only around 20 RMB (approx. $3). However, the buildings are not like the Forbidden City in Beijing, it is relatively modern, considering it was built around 70 years ago. The main building is currently in renovation. The gardens are not like the traditional Chinese gardens, it is more Russian inspired with simple flora. If you want ancient displays, this place only displays artifacts within the age of 100 years, and they are more Russian. It is very close to the Changchun Light Rail, and a museum and small Russian shopping center is also within the grounds. Overall, this is place is good for a nice stroll or a...
