This one was quite overrated for me. Once you get to the entrance you pay for a bus service to go to the top assuming you don’t want to take the long walk. Once you are up there you can see a nice view of the city but that’s about it. The other attractions here are kind of mediocre.

It takes around 45mins of uphill walk to reach the peak from the main gate entrance near 溁湾镇(地铁站). Was a tiring hike up, but there is an option of a tram ride. Hike up and on your way down, you can visit An Wan pavilion, then Yue Lu Academy.

I came to Mt. Yuelu after pandemic, nature is fresh. You can walk to the top of the mountain not easy but not to hard. I love this place.

Is a lovely place in Changsha City. The Yuelu mountain is good for a walk from the lowland to the top of the the mountain. Along the way you can see old temple very well maintained. The walk to the top of the mountain take about one hour. The are many place to relax and enjoy with young children. You can take a mini bus or the cable chair to...
