There's a west lake in Chaozhou too, besides the more popular one in Hangzhou which I visited last year! But in terms of size and scale and also much to do and see, this lake is much smaller and the scenery is nowhere near Hangzhou. But it's a good place for families and people to come here to take a break to relax and enjoy mother nature from the bustling citylife as it offers some peace and tranquility. You can also take a boat ride or puddle yourself, enjoy the greenery and lanterns throughout the park. And walking about 100-200m from the exits, you will be able to find many eateries and restaurants, convenience stores which is good!
