Jinshan Ridge Great Wall Ticket Office — Attraction in Chengde

Beautiful site! My first experience with the Great Wall. Impressive ! Next time another part of the wall. Flight with KLM to PEK Beijing / Peking and 2 hour drive to Jinshan. We had a local English speaking guide/driver. We walked a great part and waited on the wall for sunset before returning to the car on the park place. Poor experience due to the unclear ticketing service! You will have to park down the road, pay an entry ticket and additional fees for a shuttle that will not bring you to the top, unless you pay extra again for VIP.

Even if we wanted to pay all of this, it was unclear and we ended up climbing 1km under the sun just to get to the Great Wall. The restored section is pretty but we did not enjoyed much as we were already exhausted...
