Xiling Snow Mountain Scenic Area — Attraction in Chengdu

Amazing view at the summit above the sea of clouds, especially on a clear day. Although it can be cloudy at the ski resort below but once you take a cable ride to the summit, it's a different world. The sign says the peak is 5,364 metres above sea level. An alpine-style cottage up there is also charming. There is a 3 km. trail but didn't get a chance to try. We were there mid-March 2019 and very few people. It is a must-do side trip when visiting Xiling ski resort whether on a day trip or staying overnight. The whole area is the Unesco World...

Xiling Mountain is located in Dayi which is about 2 hours drive from Chengdu. The mountain offers beautiful view on top of the mountain. Could get crowded during holiday, recommended to purchase...

Be warned that most of the hotels up here don't take foreigners due to their rules and regulations. I would suggest book through a reputable agent...
