One of 2 UNESCO sites in ChongQing so should be on anyone list of to see. However a 6 hour round trip to see 3 large ‘holes’ carved out of limestone is a bit too much for me. Tips - after arriving at the drop off, walk straight ahead to the entrance for the vertical lift which should drop you straight to the 3rd and final karst bridge. Then it is another 2 km to the entrance. All down hill. You should skip the paid platform as it just give you a view of the old entrance trail to the park. Watch out for rocks and sticks inserted into the crevices. These are ‘prayer’ rocks and sticks which are meant for good luck to the bearer. After the movies shoots they left behind a number of tacky props. You cannot miss them and totally spoils the natural beauty. Yeah...
