Hac Sá Long Chao Kok Coastal Trail is my favourite short hike in Macau. This is a 1200 metre trail that skirts along the rocky shoreline of southern Coloane, taking in numerous large rock formations, dramatic landscapes and endless ecological and sea views. The trail is short, easy, family-friendly and picturesque.
Long Chao Kok Coastal Trail is well paved with steps when necessary and has protecting guardrails throughout. Lots of photo stops to make and you will find a single pavilion on an extended pier around half way along the trail. Otherwise, just grab a seat upon the rocks somewhere if you want to stop and enjoy being near the sea.

Read moreThis is the simply most beautiful place in Macau. We took a taxi to the trail east starting location, and hiked the trail westward. Then we took the bus 26A all the way back, as it is not easy to hail a taxi back, Uber is not available in Macau. The trail is pretty short, less than 2 km I would estimate and elevation is less than 50 meters. So it was a very easy hike. The scenery was unreally spectacular, stunning and gorgeous. A must see...
