雨崩村 — Attraction in Dêqên County

We went on a one month trip to Yunnan and Sichuan - from middle of March to middle of April - It was a little bit cold

Yubeng village was one of our trip highlights

On the morning we arranged a car from Feilai Temple ( FeilaiSi - Where there is YHA hostel ) to Ninog , from Ninong, we had a whole day trip to lower Yubeng, we slept there at the first, big guesthouse, it was very nice

Second day we went to the holly fall , a very nice day trip

We came back to the guesthouse, took our backpack and went to find a guest house in Upper Yubeng, we find a nice and family guesthouse right above the most famous guest house...I don't remember the name - There was a stuffed goat in the entrance of our guest house

Third day we had a day trip to the frozen lake - It was absolutely amazing - If you are short with time, go there

The next day we went from Upper Yubeng to Xidang and found a ride back to Feilai...

Went hiking here after a Himilaya expedition to a unclimbed peak. I was expecting more of a tourist culture but was surprised to see it relatively unspoiled back in 2017. I spend 5 days in the surrounding area and fell asleep by myself in one of the high pastures with absolutely no one around and watched as ice blocks the size of apartment blocks calved off the icy summits and dropped into the lake.... hopefully this will not become spoiled by tourism in the future as I am looking forward to getting back. One day walk in and out... at the time I had lost about 15 lbs and was horribly dehydrated.. so probably could make the trip in about 5 hours from...

Just heaven, magic, Utopia. I don't know how to call this place. If you can spare the time and can deal with altitudes of 4k, please do yourself a favor and go.
