bad experience.a small place for CN￥25?!with no guide.and there is nothing to visit and play.Around the place is a bad bad broken town.I only stay for 15 minutes. I prefer Foshan Ancestral Temple.A bigger place,but just need ￥10,and a better food court near by.

Must see place in Foshan Go to Shiwan station on the red line and walk 10 minutes to buy the ticket. At the tourist information centre, they speak English and will give the tour information booklet in English. Follow the map and explore the historic site

🌴南风古灶​🌴 🌴남풍고조​🌴 ✔️ 청, 명나라 시기부터 보존되어온 화덕(부뚜막) 입니다. ✔️ 실제 사람들이 주거하고 있으며 공방 등을 운영하고 있습니다. ✔️ 생각보다 다양한 볼거리들이 있어 쉬엄쉬엄 하루 구경하기 좋습니다. ✔️ 입장료는 25위안, 예약은 하지 않아도 됩니다. 🌴高灶​🌴 🌴까오자오🌴 명대에 건축된 남풍조는 용봉요(龙凤窑-용과 봉황의 가마)라고 불렸고, 수백년을 거쳐오면서 수차례의 수선이 진행되었다. 현재 가마의 총장은 32미터, 모두 26열의 아궁이가 있으며, 26하화(下火)라고 불리우기도 한다. 고조(高灶-가오자오)는 명나라 석만요로(石湾窑炉)개혁후에 용요(龙窑)로 정형화되었으며, 축조된 후로 쉼없이 불길을 이어오고 있으며, 지금까지도 생산을 지속하고 있다.

Cost to public visitors is ¥25 each, very interesting time traveling village, you can walk on the original bricks footpath, buy clay and porcelain souvenirs in the hundreds years old little houses, outside the house, you can see the hundreds years old trees' roots have become part of the walls. The most fascinating scene, is the kilns are still well maintained and in good working conditions, because I saw 2 workers there, and smoke rising from the old brick...

A historical site with the double dragon kilns being the highlight. However, there is little effort to make the site engaging. There is little to no explanation of the history of the site, and the area is now littered with souvenir shops that are a dime a dozen.

Still worth coming by if you have some time to spend but if in a rush, I would recommend...

A great place to visit. Has many historical sites to learn about ancient kilns and pottery making. This includes many souvenir shops and exhibitions. We had a tour guide for around 100 CNY which gave us a detailed guided tour and an introduction to those people working in the workshops making...
