03/12/2025: Today I walked in the park with friends again. Although it’s still mid-March, it’s already very hot and humid. Since there are not many shades along the trails, you better wear a hat or bring an umbrella to keep yourself in shade. Bring water as well. When the flowers are blooming, it gets crowded. With many gates and sections of the park winding around, you may easily get lost. 04/2023: It's quite a large wetland with ¥20 admission fare. The trails loop along some rivulets. Weekends could be crowded with limited parking at the parking lot.

A very beautiful wetlands park. It can get very crowded during weekends and holidays, so I suggest you come on a weekday. When I was there, it was a holiday, but we arrived early before the crowds.

原本打算海珠湖和濕地公園都要去的，但由於海珠湖南門不開放，衹能從北門進出，所以作爲步行者的我們，衹能放棄去濕地公園的打算（雖然從廣義上講，海珠湖也是濕地公園的一部分）。雖然我們一大早就去了，但門口仍已經聚集了很多很多的人。入場需要提供預約碼和驗證碼，過了測體溫的關，還要過安檢的關，手續十分繁瑣，環境也非常喧雜。在湖邊時常見到有游客喂飼鴨子和灰雁，或者魚——這樣做是錯誤的，不但會使得鳥類養成跟人類乞食的習慣（雖然湖中的斑嘴鴨和灰雁本來就是園内飼養的），人類高糖高油的麵包等食物讓它們的身體變得不健康，而且還會弄髒湖水。工作人員也表示說游客喂飼鳥類的做法是不被允許的，但他們無力規範。而我覺得對於這方面的知識，園區宣傳得不夠。另外，湖邊到處都在施工，蓋些風格錯亂的建築，噪音很大。我覺得這樣的地方不配被稱作“濕地公園”，而衹是“公園”而已。

Please note: This park closes on Monday! I came from Singapore and am so excited to come over here to visit the Sakura trees. But.... park close....left...
