Longji Jinkeng — Attraction in Guilin

The Golden Buddha Viewing Deck is probably the most visited, but best of the three major viewing decks in Dazhai village.

We did a hike of about 30 minutes to get up there, all paved, slippery because of the rain, but absolutely gorgeous.

There are a lot of shops up there to get tourist items, snacks, and costumed photos.

If you don't want to pay for the gondola ride, you can walk up and walk back down to the village....

Astonishing place. We came herecin August, just before harvest season, and I bet in May/June when the terraces are filled with water it is even better. I suggest to sleep at least one night here to enjoy waking up with this beautiful landscape. Make sure to explore all the surroundings and the three viewibg decks! We also walked down from Tiantouzhai to Dazhai to take the cablecar upwards, but it is not worth it - juat...

Beautiful terraced location and worth a day trip from nearby Guilin and or Yangshuo. The cable car queue is incredibly long, be prepared to download a Netflix episode or two while you slowly wait for you way up. The cable car is also incredibly slow, but then you spend lots of time looking at the beautiful views nearby.

The walk down is actually not that difficult - it took about 45min and was pretty easy...
