We took a cab to Qianling Lane morning market and there were plenty of fruits, vegetables and snacks along the street. At the end of the street is the beginning of Qianlingshan park. You can either take a cable car to go to the top or by foot. It took me more than an hour to queue for the cable car ride but saved us a lot of energy to go up. We bought a single way ticket as most people did. After the cable car ride, we decent to the other side of the hill by foot. There were many monkeys around, waiting to be fed. On the way down, we saw a temple, a small zoo with pandas and people dancing near the exit gate. Once exited from the park, we found ourselves in a busy street where we took a taxi back...

One of the famous local park near the city center, most elders doing their exercise in the morning here. Scenery is good and you can find lots of monkey asking food along the foot path. Man and the monkeys lived harmonies. Its worth seeing for there is a zoo with different kinds of animals live here. The entrance fee is 5 yuan. Elders over 60 are...

Upon entering, you will feel the temperature is 1-2 degree cooler. Enjoy your climb up to the temple because you will be entertained by the many monkeys who are snatching plastic bottles or food from the tourists. They come really close to you but there is no reason to be scare unless you are holding on to food and drinks. Do make sure your bags are closed too.

A nice city park with a little of everything. A zoo, a lake, lots of trails, lots of monkeys to entertain or harass (snatch your food or bags) and a hill to climb. You opt for a cable car ride to the top which offer a good view of the city and a short hike to the huge temple complex. The street leading to the south entrance is an exciting street by itself.
