Zhenyuan Ancient Town — Attraction in Guizhou

A lovely old town with meandering Wuyang River flowing alongside riverside inns along the busy tourist streets. Lots of local snacks & several historical spots to check out along the dreamy town. Food & transportation within town still inexpensive compared to Miao village in Xijiang. Can explore the town on foot as the area is pretty pedestrian friendly or hop on/off the old town wooden tram like bus for RMB2. The shopping area & buildings along the river bank are lighted up at night, giving it a warm welcoming glow to an otherwise ancient town.
