🏯Basic Information Wahuang Palace is located in Handan City, Hebei Province. It is the largest and oldest ancient architectural complex in China dedicated to the worship of the ancient celestial goddess Nuwa, and was ordered to be built by Emperor Wenxuan of the Northern Qi Dynasty, Gao Yang.

💎Mythical Story It is said that in ancient times, there was a fight between the Fire God Zhu Rong and the Water God Gong Gong. After Gong Gong was defeated, he angrily knocked down the pillar supporting the sky, causing half of the sky to collapse and leaving a huge hole. To save the world, Nuwa came to Fenghuang Mountain and refined five-colored stones to mend the sky, ultimately restoring peace to heaven and earth. 20240921 媧皇宮又稱媧皇聖母廟，位於中國河北省邯鄲市涉縣索堡鎮鳳凰山，1996年被列為第四批全國重點文物保護單位。另外，「媧皇宮景區」也曾作為原「崇州風景名勝區」的組成部分，現該省級風景名勝區已以「媧皇宮風景名勝區」名稱整體升格為國家級風景名勝區。

媧皇宮建於明萬曆年間，背倚絕壁，前臨懸崖，依山而建，氣勢恢弘。現有清虛閣、迎爽樓、梳妝樓、鐘鼓樓、牌坊等建築，山下還有朝元宮、停驂宮、廣生宮、呂仙祠等建築。
