I decided to take my 12 yo son up Tai Mo Shan as a spur of the moment thing. We caught a taxi up the narrow road to where there was an intersection to to start the hike up to the Bottom fall. There are many guides online which was useful as I was researching past midnight the night before. We went past the temple and that is where you see the first steps up. There are 4 waterfalls in this series and the Bottom Fall is the first one. There are tonnes of stairs so make sure you are physically fit enough and go early in the day to ensure you have time to get to where you want to go.
