A rather leisurely hiking trail which is quite conveniently accessible, scenic & quite family friendly. The bamboo tunnel was interesting, the giant vine was amazing, the Mau Ping plateau was good fun with panoramic view of the Sai Kung bay.

由西貢北港下車前往，約20至30分鐘可行到這個美麗的竹林，如果陽光下，它更別具美態，是打卡的好地方。 要拍照美，要抓緊光線及角度。由竹林繼續沿天梯往上走，經過茅坪向基維爾營方向走不足五分鐘，便能探訪充滿特色的藤皇古樹，而且可以細細欣賞它的生長的形態與動力；但必須要愛惜植物，不要踐踏或破壞。如果有興趣可以接麥理浩徑登山，又或往昂平去，在輕臥大草原上享受涼風，細賞西貢美景，亦有機會遇上來玩滑翔傘的朋友們……
