Sha Tau Kok Story House — Attraction in Hong Kong

Please note that the opening hours listed for this attraction are inaccurate. I applied for a permit and went all the way to Sha Tau Kok on a Thursday afternoon, but the attraction is already closed at 4.20pm. I called the phone number listed, and the person who picked up has confirmed they are closed for the day. He told me that they are mainly doing tour groups and individuals should make a reservation before visiting. It is ironic as the poster at their entrance listed that reservation is not needed. Overall it is very disappointing to me, as I am interested in heritage and culture and am very keen to find out about the lifestyle of this community that is in the restricted zone of rural Hong Kong.
