Wow I swear to god this hiking route is the most interesting in Hong Kong. People always think 'Oh, hiking only give you some good views!' And Shek O just make them sounds stupid. I take the 9 to the roundabout and started, first there's the Hok Tsui Village, there is a minibus repairing factory. Move east, you can see the air quality detect station, and some electric cables. At the edge of the Shek O peninsula, there's three attractions: Thunder Cave, Whale bones and Crab eye. The Thunder Cave only way in is steep, narrow and pretty slippy, it's dangerous. The whale bones belongs to the HKU lab over there. I heard that the labotorians are rude since they think tourists annoyed them. Temperature between 16-21 degree. It was very chilling due to strong wind, cold temperature and cloudy throughout entire journey. The entire journey takes about 2 and half from Dragon's back to when O peak and then to Big Wave Beach (with stop)
