Youth Square, formerly known as Hong Kong Centre for Youth Development is a youth activities complex in Hong Kong commissioned by the HKSAR Government’s Home Affairs Bureau.
As a venue for youth to develop their potential, Youth Square provides wide range of facilities including theatre, studio, multi-purpose area, hostel, retail shops and offices to facilitate youth development activities.
However, the management fails to engage grassroots participation for its activities as it does not seem to have a mechanism to support youth-led activities and instead relies on existing institutions to promote its program.
