光明顶是黄山的主峰之一。位于黄山中部，海拔1860米，为黄山第二高峰，与天都峰、莲花峰并称黄山三大主峰。顶上平坦而高旷，可观东海奇景、西海群峰，炼丹、天都、莲花、玉屏、鳌鱼诸峰尽收眼底。 明代普门和尚曾在顶上创建大悲院，现在其遗址上建有黄山气象站。因为这里高旷开阔，日光照射久长，故名光明顶。由于地势平坦，所以是黄山看日出...
