When we arrived in Hailar on June 19, it was already afternoon. We decided to join an optional tour to explore the renowned Hulunbuir Grassland. We were truly amazed by the endless expanse of lush greenery stretching as far as the eye could see. Along the way, we spotted numerous herds of sheep and wild horses grazing freely. Thanks to our four-wheel drive guide, we were able to get up close to these animals, feeling completely immersed in nature.
Later, our guide arranged for us to stay overnight in a Mongolian yurt, adding a touch of authenticity to the experience. Before dinner, she organized an Obo Worship ceremony, allowing us to take part in this local ritual, and welcomed us with a traditional drink. As the evening unfolded, we enjoyed flying kites outside the yurt, the cool, fresh air and wide-open skies making it a memorable moment.
