Hulun Lake — Attraction in Hulunbuir

We were going to stop there on our motorcycle trip though Inner Mongolia, but it was closed for the season? How can an entire lake be closed? I have no idea, but it was. It looked very pretty in the distance, some water, some shoreline, you know “lake stuff” it seemed much more clear the “Clear Lake”. From what I could see there were birds and probably fish (I didn’t see any fish because the lake was ‘closed’ but I assumed there were, pretty sure anyway). So we ended up camping a few miles down the road, it was pretty good, we had a fire and some booze and good food. Lots of mosquitoes (I assume from the closed lake), so anyway I would have been nice to see it but I didn’t get a good look at it.... So you should probably disregard...

Terrible organization. And not interesting at all. You can find nothing but a common beach. 3 toilets out of 4 were broken. And half of the last one was turned to a small grocery store. The queue...

呼倫湖在史前已經有人類居住。歷史上曾數易其名：《山海經》稱大澤，唐朝時稱俱倫泊，遼、金時稱栲栳濼，元朝時稱闊連海子，明朝時稱闊灤海子，清朝時稱庫楞湖，當地牧人稱達賚諾爾（蒙古語，意為「像海一樣的湖泊」）。而呼倫湖是近代才有的名稱，呼倫的蒙古語大意為「水獺」，貝爾的蒙古語大意為「雄水獺」，與貝爾湖一陰一陽，因為歷史上兩湖中有很多的水獺。

呼倫湖大部分位於內蒙古呼倫貝爾市新巴爾虎右旗境內，東北一部分屬於新巴爾虎左旗，地處呼倫貝爾草原西端的一個地層強烈下陷的構造盆地。湖面面積2342.5平方千米，湖長93千米，最寬處41千米，平均寬度32千米，平均水深5.7米，最深處10米左右。水域和濕地總面積為3253平方千米。湖水從11月上旬封冰，至次年5月初才解凍，冰層厚可達1公尺以上。湖面海拔約545.6米，水深約5.7米，總含鹽量為0.898克/升。呼倫湖主要入湖河流有貝爾湖出流的烏爾遜河和發源自蒙古國的克魯倫河。由北岸的達蘭鄂羅木河（新開河）與海拉爾河相通。達蘭鄂羅木河是一條調節湖水的吞吐性河流，海拉爾河水位高於呼倫湖時湖水注入呼倫湖，反之則呼倫湖水外流，經海拉爾河下泄，成為...
