Beishan Park — Attraction in Jilin City

Worth it to spend an hour or two in winter. The first you will encounter when you enter is a plaza with locals playing around and spending quality time. When I visit in winter the park is bustling with activities for kids and adults like ski, snow sled, ice-skating, even snow tubing. A train rail still in use (see a coal train passing by on my visit) cross the park which is quite interesting. If you're not into activities, there are also a few temples perched on small hill inside the park...

Beautiful park with lots of activities. At the bottom there are locals dancing, singing, having a good time.. it is so lively. Walk further up the hill and you will encounter temples and shrines to explore. Local vendors line the path with food and drinks.
