Thousand Buddha Mountain — Attraction in Jinan

Thousand-Buddha Mountain or Qianfo Shan is a must see while you are in Jinan. It is only 2.5 kilometres south of Jinan and you can easily get there by public buses, depends on your location you may take bus number 152, K152 or K64 to Qianfoshan bust stop. There is a must see temple in the mountain called Thousand-Buddha Temple. You may find the temple on your halfway of climbing. Except from Thousand-Buddha Temple, which is the main one, you will find many other small temples while hiking the mountain. It is actually only 258 meters high but you still will have a nice city view from the top. Make sure it’s not a rainy day, because if it is so then you will have much struggle. The most famous statue in the mountain is the Statue of Buddha. According to the locals, this big Buddha represents happiness and calmness. It is one of the most famous statues in Jinan city by tourists and locals. Another must see in this mountain is the Wanfo Cave. It is one of the four famous Grottoes in China.
