荊州古城是三國迷不可錯過的一個景點，是中國七大古城之一，當導遊在遊覽車上口沫橫飛地講述關於荊州古城與三國時期的相關情節，車上的三國迷已按耐不住內心的激動，大家都好奇在三國時期的兵家必爭之地-荊州(古城)，到底與想像中有何不同？

遊覽車停妥後，導遊帶領我們再轉搭遊園車，遊園車駕駛師傅，開車繞著古城牆，一邊講述歷史、建築與人文特色，特別的是有一段長近20米的石灰糯米漿城牆，雖經500多年仍堅如磐石，世所罕見。荊州古城牆內外有許多的建築物與民宅，頗為奇特，城牆上立著許多三國人物，包括關羽、周倉、關平及關興等，讓我們緬懷先人及其事蹟。另外，城內有張居正故居，大家似乎不太熟悉，但也在門口拍照留念。
