The Qiao Family Compound (喬家大院), also known as Qiao Grand Courtyard, was the residential compound of the well-known 18th century financier Qiao Zhiyong (喬致庸) during the reign of the Qing Dynasty Emperor Qianlong (清朝乾隆皇帝). The estate covers 9,000 square meters and has 313 rooms within 6 courtyards.
