Since there is currently no way to show and review the airport lounges- I have decided to share some pictures and videos from my visit to East Pacific Passenger Lounge Beijing Daxing International and CHUM VIP Lounge Beijing Daxing International. The Chum lounge had fantastic food so definitely recommend it but please be aware that they serve hot food only at particular times but snacks are available...

Some people find the airport to be beautiful and efficient, while others find it to be too large and underutilized. Here are some of the positive reviews: The airport is very spacious and well-designed, with plenty of natural light and comfortable seating areas. The check-in process is quick and easy, and there are plenty of self-service kiosks available. The security screening process is also efficient, and there are plenty of lanes available. The airport has a wide variety of shops and restaurants, as well as a number of lounges and other amenities. The airport is well-connected to the city center by high-speed rail and bus. Here are some of the negative reviews: The airport is very large, which can make it difficult to navigate, especially for first-time visitors. The airport has a limited number of international flights, which can be inconvenient for travelers who are flying to or from overseas destinations. The airport is expensive, with higher prices for food and drinks than at other airports in the region. Overall, Beijing Daxing International Airport is a good airport, but it has its pros and cons. If you are traveling to or from Beijing, it is important to weigh the pros and cons carefully before deciding whether or not to use this airport. Here are some additional points to consider: If you are traveling on a budget, you may want to consider using Beijing Capital International Airport, which is located closer to the city center and is generally less expensive. If you are traveling with young children, you may want to consider using Beijing Capital International Airport, which has a larger variety of shops and restaurants that are suitable for families. If you are traveling with a large group of people, you may want to consider using Beijing Daxing International Airport, which has a larger number of gates and check-in desks. Ultimately, the best airport for you will depend on your individual needs and...
Read moreWe were here for vacation and our first time in China. When we arrived, we had to wait for more than 2 hours to pass the immigration counter (Sunday 17/11/2024). We landed at 7am++ and only left the airport at 11am++. The reason for this is that only limited counters are open.
On our departing day (Sunday, 24/11/2024), we are leaving the airport with huge dissatisfaction and disappointment. At check-in row D, only 7 out of 18 counters are open and there was huge group tour checking-in ahead of us. For us, we had already done our online check-in, so we just need to drop our baggage off, but there's no counter just for baggage drop-off! We tried to voice out since the tour group was higging the counters, but the airport officer rudely asked us to wait for our turn. There were 18 counters, but less than half of it was working, and all the available counters were attending the tour group. You know how group tour check-in is; they take a lot of time.
My question here is, why can't this NEW AIRPORT have a baggage drop-off counter only or 1 counter dedicated for small group less than 5 people to check in? Save everyone time! As it is new, there's no point for anyone to check-in online; it doesn't make any difference. On top of that, the airport staff was so rude and unapologetic. It took us almost half an hour to just drop off our baggages. That done, next is the customs and being customs, they do throuly check. The only thing i like about this part is the custom automated-basket-system thingy. And then after the customs, there's the immigration. Urrgghhh!! there were more than 10 counters, and only 5 were open, so this was another waiting game.
They had registered my face into their face recognition thingy and had registered all my 10-finger prints when we came into China. But when we're going thru customs to leave, they do it manually. Why?? Why are they doing it manually with only a few counters open for all international flights on a Sunday?! The whole process in and out of the airport is annoying and disappointing. We wasted hours by unsystematic-old school way in a supposed-to-be-advanced airport & country. The airport might be the biggest in the world, but such poor service is a...
