Ganhaizi Scenic Area — Attraction in Lijiang City

This was amazing! When you get to the entrance there are two different places you can go to (apparently), we didn’t realise but got taken to the cloud ranch rather then the lake loop. It was so so beautiful! 360 degree view of snow capped mountains and alpine trees. We walked all the way to the mountain peak. It’s not difficult to get lost, but the last bit is a bit rocky and be aware you are climbing to 3000m.

We stayed opposite the park entrance as it was easier. We had been in Gengda, to see the pandas the day before, where we had got a private car to from Chengdu. We somehow managed to book a DiDi from Gengda to where we were statin in Ganhaizi, however I think we were lucky.
