Luguhu Scenic Area — Attraction in Lijiang City

Very beautiful place but incredibly commercialized, dominantly by people from outside of the lake community, and dominantly by Han people instead of the minorities who called the lake home.

I was looking for something more off the beaten track, but Luguhu has become touristy to the extent that on our bike ride, most of the vehicles we passed were tourist buses. It is a nice place to relax for a few days but note that everything is quite expensive and you will not really be getting far away...

泸沽湖一向以居住着迄今保持走婚母系部落生活方式的摩梭人而著称。 泸沽湖目前位于四川省凉山州盐源县与云南省宁蒗县交界处，湖东为四川的盐源县泸沽湖镇，湖西为云南的宁蒗县永宁乡。 有意思的是，云南的摩梭人被归到纳西族，而四川一侧的摩梭人被归到蒙古族。 湖泊略呈北西—东南走向，湖泊面积50.1平方公里，湖水库容量为22.52亿立方米。 目前是中国第三大深水湖泊，湖内有一小岛。 除了摩梭人，周边还有彝族和普米族、古族等，共约1.3万人。 泸沽湖虽然定位水质二级，实际多数时间已经达到一级。也因此，湖水清澈，风景秀美，加上摩梭人神秘的生活习俗，使这一景区充满魅力。 目前景区为4A级旅游景区，正准备向5A冲击。 目前这里到丽江高速已经通车，不过来这里主要依靠旅行社或自驾。制约这里旅游...
