Yes, it is a gorgeous area, however… you DO NOT to have to pay for any tickets to see the gorge or hike the trails along it – unless you DO want to walk on man-built terraces, platforms, decks etc., which btw are busy with loud Chinese people. That's your "value-added tax" if u go for that "attraction". Instead, you go (OK, we drove as I have a Chinese driving license) a bit further north and there u get equally stunning views, much less frequented paths and trails, both up in the mountains along the range or along the road, or you can even walk down to the very river, including the famous place where the river is so narrow that that legendary tiger actually leapt across it. It is steep to go down, then steep to climb back up, and it's windy up on the mountain trail, yet it is all worth every minute of it. Budget accommodation and catering are available on site and even along the paths, in season only though.

Awesome views and great hiking. You can hike down from the top and then walk along the edge of the gorge on a rough but easy to follow path. Even some dodgy ladders to scale the cliffs on. Saddly In some places along the track you will find lots of litter. Since it is a gorge it is better in the middle of the day. We loved this place - less fake than Li Jiang and very few local tourists.

Là một địa điểm nổi tiếng của Shangri-la. Ở đây khi xưa là con đường kết nối thông thương giữa các vùng. Khi 2 người cùng đi qua đoạn đượng vận tải này, đi ngược chiều nhau, thì đồ ai ko có giá trị sẽ bị bỏ lại để nhường đường cho người đối diện đi. Nên khi xưa trên đường này có lập 1 hội quán, và các thương nhân cùng nhau góp tiền. Những ai buốn bán ko thuận lợi, có thể ghé lấy 1 ít về để trang trải gia đình. Trong khu tham quan có 2 cáhc để đi từ đỉnh xuống dòng sông Lệ Giang. Đi bộ ven đường rừng tầm 2km (miễn phí) hoặc đi thang máy (40tệ/vòng, 2 vòng 70 tệ). Cảnh ở đây đẹp. Đi vào mùa nước nhiều nhìn rất hùng vĩ. Nước sông chảy siết và cuồn cuộn. Đẹp. Cảnh quan ở Trung Quốc rất đẹp.
