Without a doubt, Huangshizhai is Zhangjiajie's crown jewel! We’re here in 3rd week of April. The weather was absolutely gorgeous, it was sunny however the cool temperature was hovering around 18-20C which made it very pleasant to walk. Moreover it was much less crowded than other attractions in zhangjiajie. Nowhere else captures the park's mystical beauty quite like this - where ancient sandstone pillars stands majestically and every viewpoint feels like a masterpiece. Huangshizhai offers a spectacular yet more immersive experience. Here, you'll find yourself lingering at very well maintained cliffside platforms, mesmerized as morning mist swirls around the rock formation. The cable car ascent alone is worth the trip, revealing an unfolding landscape that will steal your breath before you even reach the summit.
