Beautiful stream in the Wulingyuan Scenic and Historic Interest Area. The stream stretches 7.5 km, flowing between steep grotesque peaks and luxuriant trees creating a fantastic hiking trail amidst the enchanting natural ecological environment.

It is a 7km walk , so you need to be prepared for the long walk. It is scenic and the sound coming from the stream is therapeutic. Relaxing and close to nature. Love the walk personally.

金鞭溪 서유기 촬영지로 유명한 진볜시(금편계곡, 金鞭溪)은 장자제 썬린궁 위안(장가계 국가 삼림공원, 张家界国家森林公园)내에 있으며, 상류에 있는 진볜옌(금편암, 金鞭岩)을 거쳐 흐른다고 하여 진볜시로 불려지게 되었다. 지상으로부터의 높이가 350m인 진볜옌은 장자제의 10대 절경 중에 하나로, 암석에 이산화 규소 성분이 함유되어 햇빛을 받으면 황금빛을 반사한다 하여 붙여진 이름이다. 야생 원숭이도 볼수 있는데 먹이가 될만한 것을 지녔으면 조심해야 한다 먹이 탈취를 위해 덤비는 수가 있다 계곡을 흐르는 물이 참 시원하다

金鞭溪是主要景區黃石寨。(含金鞭溪) 張家界最精華的風景區，古語有雲：「不到黃石寨；枉到張家界」， 很喜歡金鞭溪這個景點的，很漂亮。美麗的溪流搭配著滿目清翠山林，空氣也格外清新！ 途中隨處可見到猴子在山林穿梭，猴兒也不怕人類~ 也有猴嬤嬤為猴寶寶的可愛模樣上演，請不要餵食猴兒垃圾食物~這樣會造成牠們身體負擔！(如餵水果等可以~) 在這~很想坐下來泡壺茶 不趕著走 ~細細品味。
