Great place to visit in nanjing. Tickets for foreignerd can be purchased at the tourist information center near KFC. Food stores are available before the entrance of mausoleum. The walk upward is tiring, the stairs does not look steep due to multiple landings but I got tired walking upward. Beautiful view of the city from the top. The mausoleum is beautifully designed but picture taking is not allowed inside.

Historical landmark with lots of stairs. Building was undergoing restoration January 2025, so was unfortunately covered by scaffolding, but could still enter the Memorial Hall with Sun Yat Sen's statue. Bit of a rigorous climb, with very nice views at the top...saw some kids slide down the slopes beside the stairs on the way back down!

中山陵 - the final resting place of Sun Yat Sen. Born in Guangdong, lived and passed away in Beijing but buried in Nanjing as per his wishes.

Again a long walk before you reach the main steps leading to the tomb at the top. 299 steps from bottom to top but in total, 392 steps from the entrance to where he's laid to rest. This place is also known for its unique design such that from bottom up, you only see the steps but not the platform, but when you reach the top and look down, you only see the platforms but not the steps.

On one of the platforms, you'll find 2 bronze structures 铜鼎, presented by Shanghai Provincial Government in 1929 and the one on the left has 2 holes caused by Japanese bombing during the war in 1937. They've left it as it is, to remind all of the atrocities of war, and interestingly, you'll find people dropping coins and cash in it. On 2 of the arches along the way, you'll also find his ideals - 博爱 (universal love) and 天下为公 (the world belongs to the people).

It was super legs day climbing up to the top, only to be disappointed that his tomb wasn't open for public viewing. The furthest point we could access was the 祭堂, used for...

Great place to understand the history and contributions of Dr Sun Yat-Sen the first leader of the Kuomintang (Nationalist Party of China). He is widely respected by both the people of Taiwan and China.

Is actually very tiring after you climb to the top but it beautiful from the top, there's still many places to explore in this massive park. There's also shuttle busses to save energy if it becomes really tiring... Not able to go close to Dr sun statue when on top thou, just to walk round it n no photography too...

This attraction can become very crowded as there are many tour groups and...
