Stayed here for two nights in May 2017 while on a business trip to China. The hotel is approx 20 to 40 minutes drive from the railway station, depending on the traffic. The hotels lobby is huge, but with a dim lighting, which gives it a dull feel. The check-in and check-out took forever. Even though I had Chinese colleagues, the staff has n number of questions, which are totally unnecessary. If you don't have Chinese speaking friends, then it can be even more frustrating. So keep sufficient time, especially at check-out.||||The hotel is old, but they have done their best to maintain it. The maintenance team needs to be given a thumbs up. The rooms are on the smaller side, especially comparing with other hotels in China. They have upgraded all their switches to electronic touch screen. The TV has absolutely no English channels. The hotel uses two WiFi, one in the lobby and another one in the room, which was a bit strange. ||||The breakfast has a wide spread, but somehow I felt that the breads were not fresh enough. There is a huge choice for Chinese/Asian guests, but there is a something for everyone to eat. I did not find any shops nearby. But the cities shopping centers, restaurants are a 12 to 15 yen drive by taxi.||||The hotel has the best concierge service desk I have ever seen. I had asked something and they went out of the way to find out the details. ||||The hotel was booked by our business partner for its proximity to their office. But am sure that the city of almost 4 million will have...
Read moreThis was my first time staying here. I have to say this was the worst 5 star hotel I've ever experienced (I have no idea how they can be rated 5 star).||The room was crowded, carpet was dirty. But that's nothing compare to the terrible service I've got there.||I tried to purchase a drink at the lobby bar at 1130pm and was told (very rudely) by two different staff that they were closed. After I pointed out their sign clearly states they open until 24:00 (midnight), one staff was visibly annoyed and sold me a bottle of white wine and had me pay for him directly to his personal Alipay account (odd). When I asked for a glass and ice bucket, I was told again rudely that I need to call room service for that.||15 minutes after I called room service, I was told they didn't have ice. So I paid for room temperature white wine then was lied to, couldn't drink it after all.||Everyone I encountered was rude, not a single staff said hello to me or even acknowledged me until I've started to talk to them first. And even then they seem annoyed. ||Will never stay here again or ever recommend it to anyone. I have never had such terrible service at a so called...
Read moreThe front desk staff is very unprfoessional. They dont have any english speaker and that create a lot of troubles for us. We showed them our booking and ye they spend 40 minutes to varify that. Irony is they give us the key of the room which was already occupied. That weas the worst embarrassment we have when we enter a room where a couple was sleeping. Later on, they change the room which was so bad as follow. - Not insulated at all. The noise can go out easily and you cannot enjoy freely.- The AC was ** and not cooling at all as it was centralized. - The internet was the slowest and you have to connect every 15 minutes._ We requested for smoke free room area, yet they give us the room which was too smelly, and you can see cigarettes remains here and there. - At the front entrance gate, a lot of useless people stand every time, and they are gossiping around and checking/staring everyone entering the hotel.Overall, I would never recommend such a garbage for this amount of money they...
