I only use the departure terminal as I arrived by train to Qingdao. The airport is quite far from city so you need to plan in advance. There is toll road but can still take your 60-120 minutes. Although Google map is not correct and does not show right path near the airport and add 40 mins in journey.

Airport is quite big as other Chinese airport. Checkin and security was very quick and we were in no time.

There are many restaurants inside but you will not find vegetarian options. Although you can enjoy Starbucks and DQ inside the terminal.
