The walk from the parking lot to the beach is very far, probably around 500 m. On the scorching hot mid day sun, it's unbearable. The beach itself is very beautiful though, with beautiful blue and turquoise water and huge boulders strewn along the coastline. The park and place was well maintained and very clean. A must visit in Sanya, but in more favourable weather like early morning or late afternoon.

If you’re a beach kind of person then sure by all means go ahead. But this is simply 3 rocks by the beach and named tianya haijiao. I did not enter and simply took some pictures from outside the gate and left. There are other nicer spots if you have time to drive further down the coast

Personally I feel that it's over-hyped but it is a really nice beach like most of the beaches in sanya. The only thing that was interesting was the big rocks there. However for the sea glass collectors out there, there's a lot of sea glass around the rocks

The beach is overcrowded and has plastic waste everywhere like all the beaches in the region but the waves are small and water warm. Just don't get any ideas about getting in the water. I waded out a bit, and even though I was still standing, a security guard came running and blowing his whistle telling me to get out. there are no signs to tell you but apparently swimming or even wading past your calves is...

Nice local tourism vibes and great seaside location. This place has significance to locals since the rocks themselves translate loosely to being the end of the Earth and sea, so newlyweds will often travel here to symbolically travel to the end of the Earth and sea with their new...
