Really beautiful beach and amazing vista, you want to enjoy the view for hours. Allocate at least a full day to explore the extensive park, a few hours would not be enough. The ticket price was pricey, but it's a must visit in Sanya.
Opt for the additional ticket for the tourist car which has a route going around the park, so you can save time going from place to place. I went there after midday so the place was really hot. But we are blessed with a clear view and clean horizon, so no complaints. Also not many people are going to the foot of the buddha platform during our visit, so it's not too crowded and still enjoyable. Tickets were 108 and you'll see this number repeated in the park. There are loads of places to eat and drink, and more strangely, shop. The best parts are the main Nanshan Temple and the Guilin statute. We came at the end of high season and it was busy, but not crazy busy and we walked everywhere - it was about 5km in total.
