It's free but you'll have to go through the west gate of the university to get to it. Exhibits are mediocre in terms of information content but the basement is really cool. Lots of arcade like physical challenges related to martial arts that track a high score. Not too far from the subway station. I'd only do this if you have nothing else to do in Shanghai though.
