Happy Hotel — Attraction in Shantou

This is the first time I stayed in Shantou. Three rooms were booked and were offered on the block of “Venice” building. The room rates were at very reasonable plus buffet breakfast. The rooms were clean and tidy plus fruit and minor snacks. On finding one room with smell of cigarettes, the Staff immediate changed another room to the satisfaction. The rooms were not of the same sizes but adequate enough to accommodate for two persons sharing one room. Shower was installed in the bathroom and cold and hot water were good. All rooms did possess the required bathroom utilities.||||The buffet breakfast was of Chinese style but adequate for all to have a good breakfast for their onward travelling.||||The Hotel was centrally located and a good number of restaurants were available In the immediate vicinity for your choice.||||Attached to the hotel there was a massage service parlour but from what I had learnt from some participants, NOT...

Hotel is located in central district and close to everything, you will impress with the look of the hotel, but just like everything else in china, it looks great on the outside but poor inside.||Goods: we had the room with meal deal, so 4 meals a day including breakfast, lunch, dinner and supper. Food isn't bad, it actually include some local taste. Free wi-fi and sizable room.||Bads: It said smoke free zone everywhere, but guest will smoke anyway and staff walk pass will not say anything. Their cleaner will chat and laugh in the corridor and disregard if guest is actually resting in the room or not, they even have maintenance people working and no sign to warn you or anything. ||Verdict: what you pay is what you get, for what we paid ￥260/night, I expect the service to be a little more. Will try other hotel next time we...
