Qing'ao Bay Tourism Area — Attraction in Shantou

It took me about an hour to drive here from downtown Shantou. This is a beautiful, long, and shallow beach with plenty of seafood restaurants, bars, and other amenities. Prices are quite reasonable, making it a great place to spend a few days on vacation.

There are actually several other lovely beaches along the coastline of Nan’ao Island, but this one stands out for its convenience and well-developed facilities.

Together with others, our very distant relative in Shantou drove us here on August 6, 2024. We meant to come here on August 4, 2024, but a two-hour traffic jam before crossing the Island's only access/egress frustrated our plan.
