I don't think by any means it can compare to Hawaii, but it's a nice place to visit for a day or two. The view is ok. There are interesting water sports like jet ski: the instructor would go with you on the same motorcycle, so even if you are a newbie, you can make exciting moves. The food is good. We had street cart oysters for $2 for 6, and flathead lobster.

Came by bus on weekday which was nice, not crowded. Many highrise buildings shocked me. Please leave some spaces to the nature! Home-style restaurants were quite pricey as you were expected to eat seafood.

On September 22, 2025, when arriving at Nan'ao Island, we encountered Typhoon Ragasa, and as a result, the Nan'ao Bridge was closed.
