Shenzhen Wild Animal Zoo （West Gate） — Attraction in Shenzhen

Shenzhen zoo was a great day out. The animals seemed in good health and had good enclosures. The big cat safari was the highlight, be warned you get VERY close to the animals. There are all gift outlets throughout the zoo, there is no big shop. The children's play area looked fun. For a few RMB you can feed many of the animals. The pandas were very entertaining. A huge zoo with over 1000 animals like Lions, Tigers, Monkeys, Penguins and many more. There is also a kids playground and donkey carts for rent and transport around the zoo. There is also a bus service inside the zoo , and you can have a hop-on-hop-off ride around the park for RMB 20.
