五彩池 — Attraction in Sichuan

I had visited Jiuzhaigou National Park, and it exceeded all my expectations! The scenery was breathtakingly beautiful, with crystal-clear turquoise lakes, lush green forests, and majestic snow-capped mountains.

What made our visit even more magical was the snowfall!

The park's infrastructure is well-maintained, with clear signage and pathways. The staff were friendly and helpful, making it easy for us to navigate the park.

If you're looking for a destination that combines natural beauty, serenity, and adventure, Jiuzhaigou National Park is a must-visit! Just remember to bundle up warm, as it can get chilly, especially during snowfall.

Our next stop at Jiuzhaigou National Park was Wu Cai Chi (五彩池), also known as Five-Color Pool or the Colourful pool. As it wasn’t a bright sunny day, the colours were not as bright as the prismatic or morning glory pools we saw at Yellowstone National Park in the USA. Still there were different shades of blue which made it pretty grand and there were loads of people on the boardwalk admiring the scenery as well. 2 of our travel mates got lost and we waited about 15 minutes for them.

3 nhánh thung lũng chính của Cửu Trại Câu ngẫu nhiên xếp thành hình chữ Y. Nhánh giữa, bắt đầu từ phía Bắc là Thụ Chính Câu, chạy dọc xuống phía Nam khoảng 15km, đến Thác Nặc Nhật Lãng thì tách ra thành 2 nhánh: bên trái (phía đông) là Tắc Tra Oa Câu, bên phải (phía Tây) là Nhật Tắc Câu. Ngoài ra còn có 1 nhánh phụ là Trát Như Câu.

Hồ Ngũ Hoa nằm trong vườn quốc gia Jiuzhaigou (Cửu Trại Câu), là một trong những hồ nước ngọt tự nhiên lớn nhất ở Trung Quốc, đồng thời nó còn được công nhận là kỳ quan thiên nhiên của thế giới.

Vùng thung lũng chứa đựng hồ Ngũ Hoa được mệnh danh là vùng đất thần tiên, có diện tích 13,8 héc ta, sâu 16.4 mét. Viên ngọc quý này mang một vẻ đẹp hoang sơ, thực vật, động vật đa dạng, có hơn 140 loài chim quý.

Hồ Ngũ Hoa chứa hàm lượng chất carbonat canxi cùng hydrophyte cao khiến cho màu sắc của nước lúc nào cũng trong suốt như pha lê. Khi ánh sáng mặt trời phản chiếu xuống nước, có một số khoáng chất có nồng độ cao biến đổi tạo nên màu ngọc bích, xanh lá cây...
