In my opinion, this is the only 5 star attraction in Kunshan (apologies to Tinglin Park and the Botanical gardens). Whether you come here to eat, shop, worship, take photos or just soak in the fresh air, this is the place to visit.
Modelled on a street and temple in Taiwan, the temple features a massive pagoda tower, countless garden paths, impressive temple buildings and a nice shopping/eating complex, as well.
The statues in natural surroundings and the various gates as well as the abundant variety of flowers are impressive and if you avoid festivals, the complex is seldom crowded.
If you come to Kunshan, I can't think of another place as worthy of your time.
Pro Tip: Near the main entrance, there is an area of caves. When I was there last, the area was blocked off by a wall but walls can be scaled fairly easily. I had the cave complex all to myself except for a few geese. Of course, if they kick you out, don't blame it on me😉 but if you behave not too rambunctiously, you shouldn't have any problems.
