Xingfu Park — Attraction in Weihai

We visited this park looking for the Happiness Gate and were impressed by the whole park. This ocean side attraction has a calm atmosphere and some nice scenery including statues and greenery, and is just across the street from a well-maintained, big mall. The Happiness Gate is a tall, square arch-like structure. It is a fun picture opportunity even from the ground, although you can get a view from the top for a fee. A wonderful park set by the sea. The parkland is very well kept and contains a range of statues dedicated to various Chinese and Western poets, writers, musicians and thinkers.

You will find lots of people fishing in the shallow waters for starfish and seaweed.
